dm-tweet bot "help / documentation" unclear
Greetings,
I found this question: http://support.tweetbots.com/discussions/questions/6-yes-make-this-bot-a-dm-tweet-bot And re-read the terse explanation. But It isn't clear, and I had to set it up, and experiment to know what you meant by the help page.
First, the headline "Post Tweets to multiple Twitter accounts with the DM-Tweet bot" is the converse of the following line, "The DM-Tweet bot is setup to easily allow multiple people to tweet to a Twitter account." The headline suggests that a single DM-Tweetbot is what actually does the tweeting to multiple twitter accounts, and this isn't true. The second line is what makes this clear. While a registered Tweetbots user can create multiple tweetbots, effectually enabling the headline to be true, I was confused.
Second, the screenshot / example you have posted underneath it, might suggest that in order to send the tweet you want posted by the DM tweetbot to your "other" account, that @tweetbot is somehow the gateway and you need to send the direct message to it instead..

Ok, sorry if we seem unclear, we explain the same benefit from different points of view and they seem to confuse a few people.
Here it is:
You have your twitter account and you have your bot twitter account. You send a direct message to the bot, from your account. Your bot takes the DM and tweets it to the bot account.

That's okay. I got it. I was suggesting maybe you just look for a way
to reword your page so it makes better sense:
Headline: "A DM-TweetBot: Retweets DMs, publicly."
Subhead: "How is this useful?"
Paragraph: "With a DM-TweetBot, you can allow followers of your account to tweet
AS YOU. This might not sound like something you want at first, but
think of it as a "groupware" tool. For example, if you have a
"company" twitter account, you could enable several employees to send
PR tweets to your public-facing account without giving away the
password. Or a couple of writers could be collaborating as one
"persona" through one account.
Or, you could use it as a tool to manage multiple, personal twitter
accounts, allowing you to not have to log in and out of each account
in order to tweet. For example, set up all of your twitter accounts
to follow each other, set up a DM-tweetbot for each, and authorize
each tweetbot to accept and retweet DMs received from each other
account in turn. Then, rather than log into each account just send it
a DM. Since it came from you under an account you own and authorized,
it will be tweeted.
This would allow you to use standard text messaging to tweet to
multiple twitter accounts, something which Twitter's one-phone-to-one- account relationship does not provision."

Thank you for the above I will un- install it now the English used on this site is total gibberish and i will tweet that, What it says, it does not do a lie.
Un-installing now as for the help it is non existent, it is probably a bot as I already have read the above before asking for help.
I take it that this is an all American Site?
It is sites like this that do not do the USA any favours.

Billy,
I am not sure what you are asking for exactly, but the DM-Tweet job should accomplish it. Our support isn't non-existent, we have just been busy launching client sites.
Ed,
This is not a tool for spammers, we are very careful to not offer any tools that allow you to spam. Is 37signals a spammer? Is TwitterFeed a spammer tool?
