problems with bit.ly api

I know my bit.ly username is correct and I'm pasting in the full API Key into tweethopper (I've even reset my API), but I'm still getting is.gd links instead of bit.ly links. My username is "bucknuts" in bit.ly and tweethopper. Any ideas why this might be happening?

   My apologies, I need to add better visibility into the new bit.ly api key feature, but you had an extra " " space on the end of the key.
