Set up a feed-tweet bot but nothing is happening

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the concept, but I assumed that by entering in a feed url, that the twitter account would then tweet what is generated by the Atom or RSS feed? What am I missing here?

    Has any new content been published to the RSS feed since you set it up?

    Yes, it's the feed of a twitter search result which is constantly updated.

    Does the feed validate? What is the twitter username?
