Auto-follow Back not Working

The RSS feed aspect always seems to break every now and then; I wouldn't be surprised if it was Twitter's end stopping it somehow. But now auto-follow back has ceased to function. I'd also like to suggest an option to unfollow people who aren't following you back every 3 days who aren't on a white list, to make Tweet Hopper on par with other similar web and phone apps, that'd also bring the temptation of 2 jobs up meaning more people will subscribe. ;)

    BaSH PR0MPT,

    Thanks for contacting us.

We appreciate your suggestions. Are you still having issues with the Feed Tweet and AutoFollow jobs? I just checked and they both seem to be working smoothly now. Rest assured that we're doing our best to make them stable as possible.

Nope, the feeds would break after a week or two tops, so I gave up using them entirely and wrote a perl script to do that side for me (that and my accounts kept getting banned for replying to key words, even though I was very selective (I'm talking 2-3 a day)).

The main issue is the following back of followers, it hasn't worked for me for about a year, I assumed Tweet Hopper ceased to exist; it was only by accident I stumbled across it again and re-checked and found it was still set up to follow back but didn't.

https://twitter.com/#!/bashpr0mpt/followers <-- Easy way to see if it's working, aside from the fact the 'last active' is at 19 hours and growing, no follow backs have been issued from Tweet Hopper in years. :/

Still not functioning at all. Even two friends of mine who use it haven't had it function in ... well, many months and also thought the service had gone down / got uber-banned by Twitter or something for being too handy for us users with up to and around the 50k follower mark. :(

I tell you what though, I currently paid $400 for Tweet Adder, which also doesn't work at all anymore, although the owners claim it works fine everyone I've spoken to on Twitter agrees it claims to work but when you go to Twitter to confirm the actions it is taking it isn't doing jack. So I'd gladly pay a good amount for something that follows followers back, unfollows people who don't follow back after a X day integer who are added by the app, and also adds people based on keywords (not talking the yahoo pipes way to get Tweet Hopper to follow people by keywords, I'm talking built into the app).

$400 is for unlimited license, and I have several hundred high profile accounts I manage and run, all with 10k+ users, so I -need- a custom solution for management. If you guys can come up with an iPhone app, and web app, that does this, set your price to $50-100 and you'll be making an absolute fucking fortune.

Check out Tweet Adder, replicate it's features in a non-buggy non-bullshit way like it used to be before Tweet Adder 3 (same features, kinda, except they WORKED), and become gazillionairs while solving my frustrations, please? :)

Yay, good news. Thanks for the update, please keep us posted as to an ETA or some such; and consider f4f's suggestion regarding additional features which would make tweethopper a premier tool for us folks with large twitter followings!

It's not an issue of stability, it's an issue of the service not working at all, for everyone. I've made and tried other accounts to see if it was an API insertion error, it isn't.

Who are you Paolo? Who are the technical team? What is the problem and what solution are they making?

All I see on the support threads is you replying claiming it's fixed, most of the time the user then replies saying it's not fixed and then the ticket goes unanswered.

How can I contact the owners of Tweet Hopper to file an official complaint, because I really don't think anyone is reading this, so who should we be talking to?

It appears everything is working again. Although I'm unsure if the RSS feed part is, as you can't really force it to activate manually. I'd highly recommend allowing that, so when you add an RSS feed it initiates the command immediately so you can see if you got it right or not rather than have to wait an hour or so in limbo waiting to see if your Yahoo Pipes script worked.

But, in thanks for the auto-follow back working now I have upgraded my account to a higher tier to pay more, even though I don't need the benefits of the higher tier, out of courtesy and thanks for you guys finally fixing this shit.

It appears I spoke too soon. My RSS feed is correct, just used RSS2Twitter.com with the same Yahoo Pipes on a different Twitter account and it worked instantly.

But this account using Tweet Hopper and Yahoo Pipes isn't working:

    https://twitter.com/#!/bashpromptsbot

By the way, please don't reply saying it's been looked into and to check to see if it's working, you can check yourself by going to that URL, if it hasn't posted any tweets then it's still not working.

(Ps: I'll be starting this as another thread, just in case, because this thread doesn't seem to be getting read by the support staff because of it's age.)

Since this thread is about autofollow and it is back to fully working, I am closing this. I have responded about your yahoo pipes issue in the other thread.

Thanks for your patience, we are working hard to make the service better every day now.
