Bot has been removed
The bot I setup on Wednesday, Oct 21, has been deleted. When I try to make the bot again, it says:
1 error prohibited this bot from being saved
There were problems with the following fields:
* Username has already been taken
How is this possible and how can I fix this?

I am experiencing the same issue. I run a total of 6 bots, including the missing one, on my account. But the account with 'thebulletin' twitter username is gone. When I try to re-establish the account I get the same error message as stated above.
For me, this bot had been running about a year, the last successful tweet was on:
4:11am Oct 12
Thanks, -- Justin

@Steven, Is your tweetbot login name "yegtraffic" ?
Could you please give me the username of the bot you want to create?
@Justin, Could you please confirm your tweetbot login name ?
The bot "thebulletin" exists in the system under a user. I just need to confirm if that user is you.
But I can say "thebulletin" bot has 2 sources setup - DM and Feed.
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Justin,
The @thebulletin bot exists but is disabled.
It belong to the tweetbot user amerine.
The DM source for @thebulletin bot also happens to be @amerine, who I believe is your colleague.....
I suspect that bot has always been managed under amerine's tweetbot login.
Because bulletinwebmaster tweetbot account was only created in May 2009. While the bot, as you said, has been working for about 1 year, and the create date (2008-10-22) supports that too.
Could you please check with @amerine about this and let me know.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Steven,
I think I figured your situation out as well.
Based on your email in here I found a tweetbot account with the login of "yegtraffic" (with email ***@codemonkeyinteractive.com).
I took a punt and searched for @yegtraffic bot and I found it but it belongs to the user "stevencodemonkey" (with email ***@codemonkeyinteractive.com)
I'd say both of those tweetbot accounts belong to you so the @yegtraffic is still there, just under your other tweetbot account.
Cheers,
Andy

Got it,
Yes, that's odd. Amerine is my colleague yes. Will check with him.
You can close this issue.
Thanks, -- Justin
