I want to build an auto RT bot for some keywords. Thats why i build a yahoo pipe returning the tweets that should be posted.
The feed link: http://bit.ly/dznnI

The feed returns proper tweets - but they just will not post form tweetsbot... any idea why?

thx!

Are you sure you aren't using the bit.ly link? You need to use the full RSS feed link.

    wiesnnews,

I think the issue is that you use the feed:// protocol instead of http:// protocol.

    Give that a try.

Did replacing http with feed have any success? I seem to be having the same problem.

I've been seeing a similar issue (no feed tweets) from a yahoo pipes rss feed.

I have the same problem with a yahoo pipe. It is not working! :(

Is there a limit or something else we have to consider? Why are yahoo pipes not working?

    Steffen,

It turns out there is a limit on Yahoo Pipes, we can only check 200 feeds in a 10 minute period, per ip address. We only have two ips on the feed checking boxes, so we can only get a max of 400, while we have 900 to check. I am trying two approaches to fix this issue:

    1) Get Yahoo to remove the restriction for us, to "whitelist" us.

    2) Setup separate job handling for Yahoo Pipes that would limit the runs to 400 max every 12-15 minutes.

The second method is more code intensive and leaves everyone with a growing issue, each feed that is added would potentially push back how often your Yahoo Pipes feed could be checked. We will keep working on this issue until we can get it working properly.
